Sometimes, in fact most times, what goes on behind the scenes while setting up the shot is infinitely more interesting than the final image. No one sees the figures falling down, the number of minute adjustments just to make sure the figures look alive, the twisting of the body while trying to get the best angle. Mostly an exercise in patience and sometimes a messy and occasionally frustrating affair, at the end of the day though, it’s ALL WORTH IT!

Toy photography can be a therapeutic exercise when out shooting on your own. However, it can also be a social event. For the latter, there’s always toy safaris to look forward to. It was definitely an unforgettable experience going on a toy safari with my overseas friends in Melbourne, Australia.
